The light chemical elements are apted for nuclear fusion.
[Hydrogen,helium,lithium].
Hydrogen can not only react with oxygen,but also with itself.
The Energy inherent in nuclear hydrogen fusion is well known as hydrogen
bomb.
Experiments for thermic ignition controlled are in fundament successful.
Thermic steerage (LASER,electromagnetic plasma),is important for steady
combustion.But in aeronautics,flap attribute combustion is fairly suffi-
cing.
Energy can be adjected in different forms(temperature,voltage,radiation,
mechanical pressure).
The PLANCK formula show how the transformation is possible.
There are:

E=k.T
E= e.U
E= p.V
Instead of admitting energy in shape of temperature,you can also use
voltage,which is in the area of ultra high voltage.
Simply speaking,you can run a fusion rocket motor with a sparking plug.
The fuel has to be brought in gas form and has a high density of energy.

Therefore this system of propulsion is optimal for medium distance(Mars).
It is best run when in free space(out of the gravity of Earth)and con-
tinously with 1g acceleration.Thus the spacemen can live in artificial
gravity and the speed becomes very high.Thus the spacemen can terminate
the voyage to only one week.
